Where the Aegean Meets the Silence

The Island

Kea is the closest of the Cycladic islands to Athens, yet it remains one of the least visited. Just a 60-minute ferry ride from the port of Lavrio, it feels a world away from the city — and from the busy tourist trails of the better-known Greek islands.

The island is rugged and quietly beautiful. Oak forests, ancient footpaths, abandoned villages, and small beaches that never fill up. Life here moves slowly. That’s the point.

The House

Our retreat house sits on a hill above the island, with open views stretching out over the landscape and down towards the sea. It’s a quiet, sheltered spot — the kind of place that feels set apart from the rest of the world.

The house has five bedrooms sleeping up to ten people, with shared rooms that are simple, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged for rest. A spacious living room gives the group a place to gather, read, talk, or simply do nothing together.

The centrepiece is a large terrace where most of our meditation sessions take place — open to the sky, cooled by the breeze, and with the kind of view that makes it easy to sit still for a while.
The beach is a short walk away, giving you the freedom to swim and unwind between sessions whenever you need it..
