The Island of Apollo

Kea is no ordinary island. Rising from the Aegean just two hours from Athens, it is home to Karthea — one of ancient Greece’s most hauntingly beautiful ruins, where a temple to Apollo stood for centuries overlooking the sea.

Apollo was the god of light, music, and healing. To the ancient Greeks, he represented the highest human ideals: clarity of mind, harmony of body, and the pursuit of truth. His temple at Karthea was a place of pilgrimage, stillness, and renewal.

We chose Kea for exactly that reason. Some places carry something in the air — a stillness, a depth — that no architect can design. Here, on the island where Apollo was honoured for millennia, we invite you to retreat, breathe, and return to yourself.
